Iota Nikê Response
Iota, the first women's fraternity at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, was established in 1881. Because of distance, the charter was mailed to Ithaca, and the new members initiated themselves. Iota left campus in 1965 and was re-established in 1980. The original "priestess" scene in the Initiation Service and the pledge pin worn by all new members were developed by Iota Chapter.
