Alpha Beta Nikê Response
Phi Delta Pi, a local society on the Swarthmore College campus, applied for a Kappa Alpha Theta charter in the spring of 1891. Alpha Beta's charter was granted at the Grand Convention in July of that year and remained active at Swarthmore until 1934. In 2013, Alpha Beta was re-established, becoming the first women’s fraternity on campus in nearly 80 years.
