Chapter Beginnings
In June of 1969, the beautiful new campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa was the scene of the installation of local group Tri Chi as Delta Rho Chapter, Theta's fourth in the state of Florida. Delta Rho Chapter left the campus in 1980.

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
