Chapter Beginnings

When the ban on national fraternities was lifted at Baylor University in 1975, Theta was the first NPC group to come to the Waco, Texas, campus. Local group Delta Alpha Pi became Epsilon Epsilon Chapter. The 1976 installation was the Fraternity’s largest to that point, with 66 undergraduates and 128 alumnae all becoming Thetas together.

Notable Thetas

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields. The archives takes this opportunity to recognize some of our more notable sisters.
