Zeta Kappa Chapter was installed in 1990, at the University of South Carolina — chartered as South Carolina College in 1801, with classes beginning in 1805. The school was temporarily closed during the Civil War and served as a Confederate hospital. One hundred and nineteen Thetas were charter members of the chapter. Zeta Kappa Chapter left the campus in 2001.
