Zeta Pi Chapter was installed in 1994 at Furman University — founded in 1826 as an academy and theological institute — in Greenville, SC. The Woman’s College — which later merged with Furman University — has roots going back even further to an 1820 academy. Fifty-nine undergraduates and two alumnae were inititated in February 1994. Zeta Pi Chapter left the campus in 1996.
