Chapter Beginnings
In 2000, Zeta Omega Chapter was installed at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, becoming the sixteenth college chapter in California. Zeta Omega was Kappa Alpha Theta’s first chapter in the new millennium. Attendees at one of the largest installation banquets in Fraternity history celebrated the new chapter and the 72 new initiates.

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
