Chapter Beginnings
In 2001, Kappa Alpha Theta expanded once more in California. Eta Iota Chapter, the Fraternity’s seventeenth chapter in the state, was established at the University of San Diego, known for its remarkable campus featuring Spanish architecture and overlooking Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
