In 1972 The University of North Florida opened its doors to more than 2,000 students. Thirty-five years later, when Eta Omicron Chapter was installed in 2007, enrollment at North Florida had increased eight-fold. The university — located halfway between the center of Jacksonville, Florida and the Atlantic Ocean beaches — is home to a large and diverse student body.
