In 1908, James Madison University was founded in Harrisonburg, Virginia, as a teachers’ college for women. The institution evolved over time into a highly ranked coeducational university, which — in 2007 — welcomed Eta Rho Chapter to its sprawling campus in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
