Belmont College for women opened in 1890 and later merged with Ward Seminary to become the prestigious Ward-Belmont School for Women. In 1951, the school became coeducational Belmont College. The Eta Phi Chapter was chartered on the Nashville, Tennessee, campus in 2011. The chapter was off to a great start by leading Belmont’s Greeks in scholarship.
