Chapter Beginnings
In 1908, James Madison University was founded in Harrisonburg, Virginia, as a teachers’ college for women. The institution evolved over time into a highly ranked coeducational university, which—in 2007—welcomed Eta Rho Chapter to its sprawling campus in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Notable Thetas
From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
