Chapter Beginnings
Founded in 1931 to serve as an institution of higher education for Florida’s west coast, Tampa Junior College became the University of Tampa two years later. Eta Tau Chapter was established on campus in 2010 and was winner of the best new organization at the University of Tampa Leadership Awards.

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
